Local Economy

According to Delloitte Nigeria (2017), it is difficult to measure the contribution of the sports sector to the gross domestic product (GDP) as sports is not 'currently' listed as one of the 46 activity sectors measured by statisticians in computing Nigeria's GDP. The non-recognition of sports as an activity sector may be an affirmation of the fact that sports in Nigeria is not yet a significant economic activity. We at LSDI are determined to reverse this tide of perception by consciously and methodically developing a sports brand in Loofball, with a view to making it more attractive to players and spectators, thereby unlocking ample opportunities for youth, enterprises and investors.

Local industries and a local sports sector may emerge should the events generate enough interest as to attract people willing to attend the event and purchase products and services associated with the event.

Our Strategy

We partner with local manufacturers to produce and supply sporting equipment such as balls, flags, footwear, sport wears and other related items - creating employment opportunities in the process.

We provide support and motivation to local enterprises and ventures dealing in loofball equipment and related services.

We apply different mechanisms to build and maintain synergy between key actors in the loofball value chain.
