MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Personal Membership
Open to individuals or persons willing to connect with our growing community, our programs and functions. Such persons must be not less than 18 years of age.
School Membership (Primary and Secondary)
Open to primary and secondary schools in urban and rural centres, who are committed to ensuring quality and sustainable PE or sport programs in their domains. Both private and public schools are eligible to apply.
Corporate Membership
Open to corporate entities - including CSOs, businesses and government departments or agencies - who are interested in our causes and in shaping our policies and priorities.
Donor Membership
Open to corporate entities and individuals who share in our vision and mission for young people, and are willing to support us towards fulfilling them.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
All members receive the LSDI membership badge.
All members receive periodic bulletins highlighting our activities, events and corporate relations.
Member schools receive special attention (with respect to organised PE and sport programs – including getting support, guidance and resources that aid in improving PE and school sport) from the Initiative.
School and Corporate Members receive invitations to attend our policy and strategy meetings, conferences, award dinners and other special events (Note: Member bodies are represented by delegates).
In addition to being recognized at events for supporting our causes, Donor Members have their logo or names featured on our website and customized items or products.
All members have the opportunity to send related news stories or articles for publication on our website and social media platforms.
How to Become a Member – Application Procedure
- Download our membership form here.
- Read the terms and conditions therein.
- Fill out the form and send to admin@lsd-initiative.org with "MEMBERSHIP REQUEST" as the subject.
- Once your application is successful, you will be sent an invoice to pay the appropriate membership fee. On paying the membership fee, you'll receive an email (with membership badge attached) notifying you of your induction as a member of LSDI.
- To renew membership, kindly follow the above procedure.
